The Hugh Miller Institute

This building on Church St (almost opposite The Cromarty Arms pub) houses the local library and was presented to the town by the Carnegie Institute in 1903. It is named after the famed Scottish geologist and writer, Hugh Miller, who was born in Cromarty in 1802.
