Venues
The beautiful town of Cromarty is the location for the festival and all eight venues are to be found there, within easy walking distance. But, if you're tight for time between films, our shuttle bus is there to help - especially useful if you are heading up the hill to the Stables.
- The Victoria HallThis former drill hall in the centre of Cromarty has lots of space, and becomes the perfect country cinema once we've decked it out with black out curtains and a huge screen. The hall seats up to 100.
- Old Brewery / HubNot only does this stunning, historic, sandstone building at the edge of town house the Hub of the festival, but this year also plays host to our Animation Workshops, upstairs in the Loft Studio.

- Cromarty LighthouseThe open air venue for our opening screening on the tower of the lighthouse. Standing room only so dress for the weather and gather round the brazier with a glass of mulled wine and watch some entertaining short films!
- Ben's HouseBen's House On Bank Street, opposite Sutor Creek, another of our venues and top local eatery, is our smallest venue. It's a house. And it belongs to Ben. It's Ben's House!
- Old Buoy StoreRight at the harbour front, this is another of the University of Aberdeen's Lighthouse field station buildings - full of interesting artefacts and info. For one weekend only, another of our cosy venues.
