Brought to the festival by the producer Christopher Hird, this is a remarkable documentary about inequality in the U.K. and the U.S.A. Katharine Round’s good looking slickly made documentary is a fierce unsettling film which looks at the human cost of the gulf between rich and poor. Round interviews people from all walks of life and intercuts the film with news footage and interviews exploring how the Reagan/ Thatcher era handed the reins to the richest one percent. Come and listen to Christo talk about how the film was made.
