Glasgow Short Film Festival is delighted to return to Cromarty with two programmes drawn from our tenth anniversary edition. By turns funny, shocking and moving, our selection showcases some of the finest new fiction, animation and documentary from Scotland and around the world.
The new works collected in Scottish Shorts: Crossing Over chart significant shifts in our lives, moments of realization or irreversible change. A looping online avatar has an existential crisis in the latest animation from the Black Isle’s own Will Anderson, whilst a macabre family portrait session is the setting for a devastating covenant. A daughter and trans-parent address their evolving relationship, whilst a blind date on a mountainside meets a soggy end.
